Florida:
- Air defenses: NORTHCOM placed Avenger air-defense systems at Mar-a-Lago and Palm Beach's airport (see Signal #2). (Palm Beach Post)

Hurricane Isaias recovery (Florida Panhandle): FEMA approved individual assistance for eight Panhandle counties. Claims have reached about 62,000 and $652M, and many are still unpaid, which could affect statewide insurance pressure. (WLRN)
Savannah River Site (SC), follow-up: The Oct. 28 lab fire set off a Site Area Emergency that has since ended. One worker had minor injuries, and officials found no off-site contamination. An early report of a radiological release was retracted. (AP, WRDW)
